Software Developer / Programmer

We’re looking at growing our team and are seeking someone very comfortable working in the major game engines. A lot of our work is quite unique and different from conventional game development, so you’ll need to fully appreciate what’s possible and work together with the team on creative solutions (refer to our “in progress” website for the type of work we do).

Skills required:

• Unity

• Unreal

• Strong understanding / background in C / C++ / C#

• Experience programming for VR and / or AR headsets

• Plenty of time spent working in teams.

Additional skills:

• Any web programming experience is a big plus, especially WebGL.

• Knowledge of 3D modelling software (3DS Max, Blender, Maya etc.)

• Motion tracking experience

We don’t have any requirements for ‘shipped’ products, but we definitely want to see completed projects you’ve been a part of.

The position will initially be task-based (we run several projects simultaneously), with a scope to part-time and eventually full-time employment if so desired.

The team is based throughout Melbourne, currently all working remotely though we have studio space available in Fitzroy. Even though this is a remote position, we do ask that applicants live in Melbourne due to some application support required onsite.

You will ideally be using your own hardware, with the potential for supplied equipment being introduced at a later stage.

This is a paid position, commensurate with experience and knowledge, and there will be trial period. All work completed during this trial period (regardless of successful employment) will be paid for.
